Shannon Durington, CPDT-KA

Shannon is a St. Louis native who graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a degree in English and a minor in Sociology.

While working at a nonprofit after college, she had the opportunity to work closely with veterans and see how much of a difference service dogs made in their lives. This led Shannon to pursue a career in dog training. Today, she is a certified dog trainer and AKC certified training evaluator with over 7 years of experience.

Shannon has friends and family who have served in the Army and Navy. In fact, her first puppy was a gift from a veteran friend. She knows firsthand how much a dog can positively impact someone’s life and is very excited to use her training experience to help both rescue dogs and veterans.
