John is a Director of Hirtle Callaghan, a $20 billion investment management firm focusing on philanthropic organizations, colleges and universities, healthcare organizations, family offices and private family foundations. With over 30 years of experience in investment management, John has developed a great passion for serving as a trusted advisor and a partner to a range of clients with different needs. Previously, John was the Managing Director and founder of Marquette Asset Management in Minneapolis, Minnesota, which was sold in 2016. Prior to Marquette, he was Vice President and Regional Manager for Bel Air Investment Advisors based in Los Angeles, California. John places great importance on philanthropic endeavors and focuses those efforts on military veteran’s causes, and arts and community organizations. He has acted as a board member of Dogs for Our Brave, Folds of Honor Minnesota, Twin Cities Public Television, Saint John’s University, the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, among others. John earned his MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Phoenix, Arizona and earned a B.A. in Business Administration and Spanish from St. John’s University.
