Carol Sheahan
Director of Operations and Communications

Carol joined the Dogs For Our Brave (DFOB) team as the first Director of Communications on March 1, 2024 and quickly moved into the role of Director of Operations and Communications.

Carol is a seasoned public relations and marketing professional with a proven track record of leading marketing and branding initiatives with companies in a variety of industries including banking, commercial and residential construction, education, food & beverage, manufacturing, not-for-profit and professional services. Carol’s experience includes project management; strategic brand planning and execution; media buying, public relations and social media content development and execution; new business development and organic growth; budgeting, accounting, and small business management.

Prior to joining the team, Carol’s volunteer experience with DFOB spans from assisting with the opening of our training center in 2018 to providing marketing and communications assistance with our appearance on Fox News, our 2023 Sip & Savor event, general social media and more.

Carol is a proud veteran mom. Her son, Kyle, served as a 19D10 Cavalry Scout from 2007-2012 and was deployed on two tours in Iraq in support of Operation New Dawn and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
