Bryan Pieschel
Executive Director
From 2004 to 2009, Bryan “Doc” Pieschel honorably served as a U.S. Army medic during the Iraq War.
In 2005, while assigned to the 5th Engineer Battalion, a mechanized combat engineer unit, he faced the intensity of front-line combat in route clearance operations. The "Fightin' Fifth" lost four of their brothers during the yearlong deployment and would send numerous more home wounded. READ FULL STORY

Bridgette McAuley, CPDT-KA
Director of Training
In 2019, Bridgette began her career with Dogs For Our Brave as a volunteer. After a few short months, she was promoted to a Full-Time trainer. Her background includes a B.S. in Animal Science with a Minor in Captive Wild Animal Management from the University of Missouri. READ MORE

Carrie Johnson
Community Engagement Coordinator
Carrie started at Dogs for our Brave in August of 2022. Not only was Carrie already acquiring her credentials for dog training though the Animal Behavior College, she had also been working with local veterans at the American Legion for over two years. MORE

Becky Harding
Trainer, CGC Evaluator and CPDT-KA
Becky started her career with animals at a local animal shelter in her hometown of Farmington, New Mexico. After moving to the St. Louis area in 2018, she continued her work with rescues at St. Charles County Pet Adoption Center. MORE

Logan Boyle
Trainer
Logan started her journey at Dogs For Our Brave as a volunteer with her personal service dog, Riot. As a dog trainer herself, she fell in love with the mission & got to know the trainers well. Logan started her journey as a trainer at Dogs For our Brave in August 2025. MORE

Carol Sheahan
Director of Operations and Communications
Carol joined the Dogs For Our Brave (DFOB) team as the first Director of Communications on March 1, 2024 and moved into the role of Director of Operations and Communications in May. MORE
