Our Dogs in Training

BRAVO

Before being rescued by the DFOB Team, Bravo was found tied up to a lawn mower in Farmington, MO. The team at the Farmington Pet Adoption Center rescued him and called the DFOB Team thinking he might be a good candidate for the program. He passed his assessment with flying colors and came to the DFOB Training Center that day.

GUNNER

Gunnar is a three-year-old Akita/German Shepard mix. We adopted him from the APA. Gunnar is a very sweet boy and loves people, especially kids. We were impressed by his loving nature and willingness to learn.

Wally

Wally was gifted to Dogs For Our Brave by one of our generous supporters in Fall of 2024 as a puppy. He is a yellow labrador retriever - with an emphasis on retriever!

DOZER

We found Dozer at Stray Paws in St. Peters when he was 9 months old. He was originally adopted from them when he was a puppy but was returned because he got too big for the elderly couple who had adopted him. They called us to come do an assessment on him. We were especially impressed with his friendliness towards people, his food motivation, and his patience.

HAGER

We received a message on Facebook from a generous individual needing to surrender two Labrador puppies due to health issues.  This smart, confident puppy learns quickly and is a joy when working or playing. His training is sponsored by Hager Companies.
