The Dog Tag Chandelier and Wall of Heroes will stand at the heart of the new Dogs For Our Brave Training and Legacy Center, honoring the 7,086 service members killed in Iraq and Afghanistan.
More than a memorial, it will be a place of remembrance, reflection, and purpose—a place where Gold Star families, veterans, service dogs, donors, and visitors can gather to honor sacrifice and witness legacy in action.
Suspended above the space, 7,086 stainless-steel dog tags will serve as a powerful reminder of those who gave everything in defense of our nation's freedom. Each dog tag will bear the name of a service member killed in Iraq or Afghanistan, creating a one-to-one tribute to every life lost. Surrounding the memorial, the Wall of Heroes will permanently preserve all 7,086 names, ensuring their sacrifice is remembered and their legacy endures for generations to come.
This memorial will stand as a daily reminder that freedom has a cost, and that legacy is carried forward through service.
