Keryn Shipman
Director of Fundraising

As the Director of Fundraising for Dogs For Our Brave, St. Louis native Keryn Shipman plans, coordinates, and assures the implementation of fund development strategies to develop donors and contributions to support the mission of Dogs For Our Brave. She works closely with the Executive Director and Board of Directors to develop and coordinate fundraising strategies from individuals, corporations, foundations, and local and state funding sources. Keryn has more than 17 years of experience working in the nonprofit world, raising money and awareness for breast cancer, children and older adults. Keryn has always been a strong advocate for our Veterans, and she loves dogs, which is why she feels honored to be in her role to support our American Heroes.

Before entering the nonprofit sector, Keryn enjoyed a successful 23-year television career as a Certified Meteorologist in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia and St. Louis. She is an Emmy Award winner and a former All-American Swimmer at the University of Alabama. A die-hard Alabama football fan, Keryn spends her Saturdays cheering on the Crimson Tide.
